This is your second chakra out of the seven and it is associated with sensuality, sexuality, and creativity.

Think of your sacral chakra as the passion center of feeling. Creativity stems from within this center and allows a feeling of expression and emotion.
If you deny yourself feelings that bring you pleasure, become attached easily, have a lack of creation or motivation, and emotional confusion, these are indications of an unbalanced Sacral Chakra.
If you have flowing creativity, emotional stability, and senses of happiness and joy, these are indications of a balanced Sacral Chakra.
What Causes a Sacral Chakra Blockage?
This chakra can become blocked and unbalanced for a number of reasons. Some of these reasons stem from sexual abuse or criticism related to creativity.
Balancing and Healing Svadhisthana
Opening and cleansing your sacral chakra is a must if you would like your passionate creative energy center to be cleared.
This can be done by eating certain foods, listening to certain sounds, utilizing certain smells and other holistic remedies. Below are remedies recommended for opening your Sacral Chakra.

Consuming the following can allow your Sacral Chakra to become cleansed and opened.

- clear liquids (broth or tea)
Any food that has qualities to strengthen or flow (proteins or oils) is prime for your Sacral Chakra. Indulge in every bite and savor it, as this energy center is the pleasure center.

To use Sacral Chakra oils, put a few drops on your hands and smooth the oil on your wrists and neck.
I always stick with Young Living essential oils when purchasing any healing oils, as I have personally received the most benefit through them. This has been the only brand where I can physically feel the oil healing my skin it comes in contact with. Not to mention the aroma is not too strong but not mild enough where it fades after 30 minutes.
Purchasing a cheap six-dollar essential oil from your local drug store will do you more harm than good in this case, trust me based on experience. Oils like these are most likely just fragrance and will bring you no healing properties, only harsh chemicals on your skin.

One of the most simple ways to balance your chakras is through meditation. Meditation connects you to a higher spiritual realm.
It is scientifically proven that focusing on a certain energy center activates it and allows for energy to flow to and from there.
While meditating, imagine an orange glowing essence forming at your pelvic area and emanating all throughout the rest of your body.
